Rachael Britton,
PsyD, LP

Owner; Certified EMDR Therapist;
EMDRIA Approved Consultant;
Board Approved Supervisor

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and have been working in the field of psychology for over 15 years.
I specialize in supporting adults 18 years and older through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and dissociation. In addition to these specialties, I also use various therapeutic techniques such as Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, art-based interventions, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide a well-rounded, client-centered approach.

My primary focus in therapy is to help you gain a deeper understanding of your emotions and develop practical coping strategies that enhance your well-being. We all develop ways of coping based on our environments—some strategies help us overcome challenges, while others may prevent us from living the life we truly desire.

Together, we’ll identify your personal goals and work toward creating a more fulfilling life. By developing new skills to manage distressing situations and processing past and current life events that continue to affect you, you'll build the tools needed to overcome challenges that may feel out of reach right now.

In difficult times, holding onto hope can feel nearly impossible. That’s why I focus on creating a space where I can hold that hope for you until you’re ready to see that change is possible. In working with many individuals, I’ve witnessed change, hope, and freedom manifest in various ways, and I believe these outcomes are achievable with commitment and the right support

Outside of therapy, I am passionate about spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, hiking, camping, canoeing, enjoying music, and participating in theater.

My clinical interests include working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders, relational issues/concerns, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, self-esteem issues, trauma related issues & PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, and personality disorders.
